Hennessey Performance and its gang of Texas tuners are planning upgrades for the 2014 Chevrolet Stingray Corvette before the car even hits the market. We're sure Corvette engineers working on the next ZR1 are taking notice, presumably with a chip on their collective shoulders. In October, the Hennessey HPE700 Corvette is expected to debut packing a claimed 700 hp, with help from an Eaton TVS R2300 supercharger.

The Vauxhall Adam Black Edition and Adam White Edition are now on sale; the company says that the tech-packed special-edition models were inspired by smartphones. The Adam Black Edition and Adam White Edition both come with Vauxhall’s IntelliLink infotainment and Siri voice control activation as standard. Drivers with a compatible iPhone can use the system via steering wheel controls and voice commands.
More on the ‘Recession-Busting’ deals that abound from car makers at the moment. Subaru has come up with a deal for the Impreza WRX Turbo where you can have the car for the same price as the 1994 equivalent – just £17,798.
